Identification of Musical Instrument Sounds using Multilayer Perceptron

Abstract
In this paper, Timbral feature extraction of Musical Instrument sound is done. Seven timbral features are extracted using Music Information Retrieval (MIR) toolbox 1.6. & analyzed and found the result for Musical Instrument Identification. After extracting these timbral features, they are analyzed and using classifier Multilayer Perceptron, musical instruments sounds are identified.
