Performance Analysis of OFDM System to Different Modulation Schemes in Additive White Gaussian Noise Channel

Abstract
In this paper, the performance of OFDM system using different modulation schemes such as Binary Phase Shit Keying (BPSK), Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK), M-ary Phase Shift Keying (M-PSK) and M-ary Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (M-QAM) over AWGN channel has been reported. The performance of the system is evaluated in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) and Signals to Noise Ratio (SNR). The analysis of result shows that the value of SNR increases as BER decreases. It is also observed that performance of QPSK is comparatively better than PSK and QAM modulation and the two modulation schemes BPSK and QPSK have similar performance.
