Paper Title
Family Relation and STR-DNA Matching using Bayesian Inference

Abstract
The study proposed Bayesian inference with a likelihood ratio approach to identifying an individual if the family had no parents. The research is by identifying Short Tandem Repeat (STR-DNA) from living families like siblings, grandparents, uncles, nephews and cousins. The results of measurement similarity DNA profile for cousins can not be used because the value of similarity does not reach 50%, while for siblings, grandparents, uncle-aunt, nephew can reach above 50%. Precision value with Bayesian gains 100% for siblings, grandparents, uncles, nephews. Keywords - Bayesian Inference, STR-DNA, Likelihood Ratio, Similarity, DNA-Profile.
