The Effects of Human Resource Acquisition, Human Resources Rewards and Development on Organizational Performance: An Empirical Investigation of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand

Abstract
The objectives of this research were; 1) to study the effect of human resource acquisition on organizational performance, 2) to study the effect of human resource awards on organizational performance, 3) to study the effect of human resource development on organizational performance.Convenience sampling method was implemented to select 397 samples of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Sakon Nakhon province, Thailand. The research instrument was questionnaire which had factor loadings between .723 - .885 and Cronbach’s alpha between .835 - .882. The hypothesized relationships among variables were examined by using multiple regressions analysis.The results revealed that 1) human resource acquisition had a positive influence on organizational performance (b = .312, p = .000), 2) human resource awards had a positive influence on organizational performance (b = .227, p = .000), 3) human resource development had a positive influence on organizational performance (b = .389, p = .000),The final result of the research illustrated that human resource acquisition , human resource awards and human resource development were important factors influencing the operational efficiency of personnel in the organization Keywords - Human Resources, Organizational Performance, Small and Medium Enterprises
