Knowledge Base System Selection Using Think-Aloud Method
Abstract
The Directorate of Technology and Information System Development ITS wants to implement the knowledge base system so that the handling method from the service desk side and the user can be documented especially the problems with IT services effectively and efficiently. There are two knowledge base system that have different information and layout of website designs. In selection the right knowledge base system for DPTSI, an evaluation is needed on the two-knowledge base system software that has been proposed. In this research, Evaluation the usability of the software uses the think-aloud method. In this method, you can find out the human focus when doing website testing through the mouse tracking. Assessment indicator using Nielsen Attributes of Usability (NAU) consist of learnability, memorability, efficiency, errors and satisfaction. The output of this research is a proposed knowledge base system to make users easier to understand and use websites.
