Paper Title
The Effect of Filler Loading Tea Waste Nanofiber on Mechanical Properties of Biofoam

Abstract
Biofoam is an alternative packaging to replace conventional Styrofoam produced from natural raw materials, namely starch and PVA with filler loading to strengthen its strucure. The fiber used in this study is an organic filler from tea waste which is modified to form the nanofiber of tea waste. Nanofiber with diameter 64.27 nm has been succesfully prepared. On the other hand, biofoam based on starch and PVA reinforced with nanofiber of tea waste significantly improved properties compared to unreinforced. From the result, foam with loading of 3% and 1% (w/w) of nanofiber for highest value of tensile strength and elongation at break properties respectively about 5.647 Mpa and 1.295%. Keywords- Biofoam, nanofiber, tea waste.
