Engaging Actors of Creative Economy through Communication Campaign in Supporting the Development of Creative City in Indonesia
The development of the creative economy as the basis of the growth of a city has led to the concept of a creative city. The city is a vehicle for residents to move, innovate and be creative. Creativity is an essential factor in the economic development of the city. Communication and support from all stakeholders, including the government, economic actors, academic and the communityare necessaryto foster creative behavior in the economy of the city. This finding has implications for government, creative economyactors, as well as academic research. It emphasizes the importance of understanding and protecting intellectual property rights of creative products as part of developing a creative economy which becomes the basis for the creative city to grow.
