A Demand of Instructional Management Using Educational Innovation for Supporting a Production of Physical Education Teachers

Abstract
This research aims to study1) supports of instructional management for supporting a production of physical education teachers, 2) needs of instructional management using educational innovation for supporting a production of physical education teachers. Population used in the research is 150 students, majoring in physical education, Bachelor of Education, Rajabhat Maha-Sarakham University. 109 students of the sample group are selected by using Yamane’s formula (1973). 5 rating scale-questionnaires are used as a research tool. Statistics used for data analysis are mean and standard deviation. The study results find that 1) supports of instructional management for supporting a production of physical education teachers in overallis at a high level (x ̅=4.46,S.D.=0.50). When considering in each aspect, the study found that quality and quantity of supports of instructional management for supporting a production of physical education teachers ordering from high to low mean are 1)physical supports, facilitators, teaching materials, and services, respectively, 2) needs of instruction management using educational innovation in overall is at the highest level (x ̅=3.58,S.D.=0.68). When considering in each aspect, the results find that the needs of using educational innovations ordering from high to low means are innovations of teaching materials, instruction innovations, assessment innovations, curriculum innovations, and management innovation, respectively.
