The Role of Green Supply Chain Practices in Improving Performance of Organization

Abstract
The cost and wastage is the major problem during the whole supply chain process. The fast-food industry focuses on the traditional supply chain system instead of the green supply chain which ignores the element of the environment during the whole process. The green supply chain management is the process of avoiding waste during the production and supply process, and it involves the purchasing of material. This study examines the role of green supply chain practices in improving performance of organization. This study employed quantitative technique for collection of data collection through questionnaire. This study collected data from the restaurants industry. A sample of 100 was collected through survey. Correlation and regression techniques were used test research hypotheses. Findings suggested that green supply chain practices have significant role improving performance of organization. Future directions and research implications are also suggested in this study.
