Paper Title
Antibacterial Activities of Herbal Essential Oils on Propionibacterium Acnes and Staphylococcus Epidermidis

Abstract
Herbs have been used for many purposes, including medication, nutrition, flavoring, beverages, and fragrance. Much of the early interest in functional foods and nutraceuticals was based on the medicinal uses of herbs. This study aimed to demonstrate antibacterial activities efficiency of herbal essential oils (EOs) against Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis. The antimicrobial activities considered by minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC). Herbal EOs showed the strong antibacterial activities against tested bacteria. The combination of Boesenbergia rotunda, Cuminumcyminum, Cymbopogonnardus and Syzygiumaromaticum EOs showed a significant decrease in their individual MBCs of bacterial strains by 16-fold. In the future, there may be additional studied and developed of these herbal EOs for many benefits such as medicinal, inflammation acne treatment and cosmetics.
