Paper Title
Climate Change Risks and Cultural Heritage: A Legal Planning Model Disaster Risk Management System Analysis
Abstract
Evaluating the impact of natural or human-induced disasters not only on human lives or urban settlements but also on cultural heritage (CH), which includes cultural goods and landscape, is fundamental above all in disaster-prone areas. The connection between disasters, due to the negative effects of climate changes, and protection of CH needs to be dealt with a risk management system which takes into considerations the importance to preserve its value. Taking into consideration this value is important to analyze the risk management format provided by regulations and technical standards as well to introduce risk-oriented policies and to develop risk management plans.
