Abstract
Diverse and interdisciplinary area of Ecommerce is the core technology of knowledge economy which allows one to penetrate both as buyer or seller in to the global market providing matchless opportunities regarding cost, market share etc. Computers, Internet and Smart phones play vital role in the field of ecommerce. Ecommerce without computers is almost impossible. Ecommerce is classified in to six types. Voice shopping, Augmented Reality, Shoppable videos, Blockchain, Chatbots, Beacon, Mobile commerce, Biometrics for safety and security, Cross channel integration, Image search, Fast check outs, Speedy mobile payment solutions, etc. are relatively new technologies that are revolutionizing the field of ecommerce rapidly.
