Binary Construction Of Quantum Codes From Self-Dual Orientable Embeddings Of Kr , Kr,S And Krs,S,S
Abstract
In this paper we present four new classes of binary quantum codes based on self-dual orientable embeddings of complete, bipartite and tripartite graphs and by current graphs and rotation schemes. These classes of codes suggest a more general construction of codes defined on the closed orientable surfaces. We also show a table comparing the rate of these quantum codes when fixing the minimum distance to 3 and 4.
