Paper Title
Aeration Performance of Venture Devices
Abstract
Dissolved oxygen content is the main indicator of surface water quality. Water jets can increase dissolved oxygen levels when the jet impact velocity exceeds a critical velocity. A venturi tube helps air bubbles enter the water flowing through the air inlet openings. Thus, increases the amount of dissolved oxygen (DO) in water. In this study, air injection rates, velocities and pressures of the venturi tubes were investigated. In this study, Computational Fluid Dynamics modeling is used. The results were compared and interpreted.
