An Analysis of the Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on Management Performance

Abstract
The primary purpose of the study is to assess howCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributes to management performance in Korean corporations.For research purposes, this study utilized information related to the management performance of an enterprise in KISVALUE and KEJI Index provided by The Citizens’ Coalition for Economic Justice from 2014 to 2017 in Korea.Based on regression resultswe found that among independent variables associated with CSR social contribution (SC) index and consumer protection (CP) index are statistically significant within 10% level with the positive sign implying the corporations’ profits increase as the index of SC and CP increases holding other things constant.
