Paper Title
U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy - A Wedge Strategy to Contain China

Abstract
During the Trump administration, US began to abandon Asia-Pacific Rebalancing strategy and shift to Indo-Pacific Strategy. Regarding the possible form of the Indo-Pacific Strategy, since the time is short after US formally mentioned it, there is little conclusive conclusion, but its main goal is to contain China. The hypothesis put forward in this paper is that the Indo-Pacific Strategy a wedge strategy, because now the United States faces two fronts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, it is unable to put all its resources on the containment of China. And because there is no big country in the system that can contain China efficiently, this strategy cannot be a buck-passing, and finally, I used a case of India to illustrate how wedge strategy works.
