Paper Title
Magnetic Devices for the Sensing of Hydrogen

Abstract
This paper investigates the efficacy of a [Co/Pd]n multilayer device with various degrees of interfacial anisotropy in the detection ofH2.In a magneto-optical, transport and gas-detection system, the proposed device presented sharp, reversible H2-dependent magnetic/electrical properties. The electrical signal-to-noise ratio of the device can be restored by exposing it to a magnetic field, even when the sensitivity of the device dropped at low H2 pressure. The sensitivity of the Hall-effect-dominated device to H2decreased without an applied magnetic field. The device retained sensitivity despite field-removal. The proposed devices out performed current commercial models (solid-state based) in terms of power consumption(< 1mW)by eliminating the need for a heating process. Keyword - Hydrogen Sensor
