Case Study as a Research Method to Understand E-Commerce Business Patterns for Startups in the Context of Pakistan
This paper presents a case study as a research method to understand e-commerce business patterns for startups in the context of Pakistan which emphasize detailed contextual analysis of a limited number of events or conditions and their relationships, to know what would be the best revenue model for startups if they setup themselves on e-commerce platforms catering to the local market of Pakistan and to know what would be the best strategy to sustain in the long run. Researchers have used the case study research method for many years across a variety of disciplines. In this study two cases were taken from Pakistan. One from Lahore and the other one from KPK. Thematic analysis technique was used to analyze the cases in detail.
