Discussion on the Diffusion Processes of Innovative Cross-over Products-Taking Phablets as an Example

Abstract
This study aims to discuss the interactional relationships between cross-over products and their predecessors using the co-diffusion model, and by taking the phablet, a cross-over product of smartphone and tablet as a case study. Results indicate that both smartphones and tablets can help the diffusion process of phablets. In addition, the co-diffusion model established herein with the twin effects of the predecessor products is superior to the original co-diffusion model in terms of fitness and forecasting performance.
