Abstract
Airline business takes its important position as supporting part in economic growth of trading and tourism sectors which requires safety, security and fast movement. In its daily operation, the airline company cannot be separated from its suppliers. One of the supporting suppliers for the airline is the airport operator. In Indonesia, the airport operators are conducted by PT Angkasa Pura 1 for the most airport in Eastern Indonesia, PT Angkasa Pura 2 as an authority for Western Indonesia and the others airport operators under Indonesia’s Government. In this research, authors evaluate the significance of airport landing charge to the airfare and the effect to market share. Mancova method is used since the dependent variables are more than one variable (airfare and market share) and the existence of covariate variable, landing cost per route. The result showed that landing charge has a significant effect on the airfare while it has not significant effect on the market share.
