Africa’s Human Rights Violations

Abstract
Africa is one of the unfortunate regions where war and instability has been mainstreamed for centuries. Even in the post-colonial rule, despite the constitutional role many African republics could not get protection of their basic human, civil and political rights. This report discusses the nature and types of human rights violation in Africa over the past few decades.
