Effect of Sintering Temperature on Structural Properties of LA0.65SR0.35MNO3 Nanoparticles Synthesized by Sol-Gel Method

Abstract
Nano-phasic La0.65Sr0.35MnO3 (LSMO) samples were prepared by the sol-gel method. The samples are sintered at different temperatures ranging from 700°C to 900°C and calcined at 600°C. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized using XRD, SEM and UV-visible spectroscopy. Transition from nanosize to bulk was found by increasing the sintering temperature. All the samples were found to crystallize in the rhombohedral structure belonging to the R-3c space group Keywords- Manganites, Sintering, Sol-gel, X-ray Diffraction
