Improving IoT Applications using Fog Computing Environment

Abstract
With the fast growth of Internet of Things (IoT) applications, the cloud computing can solve an important issue IoT represented by the availability of limited resources. However, cloud computing faces several challenges such as high latency, low capacity and network failure. To overcome these challenges, fog computing brings the cloud down to IoT devices. The fog delivers IoT data processing and storage locally at IoT devices rather than sending them to the cloud. Unlike the cloud, the fog offers services with greater quality and faster response. Furthermore, fog computing can be considered the best option to provide efficient and secure services for IoT users.
