Preparation and Evaluationof Hexagonal Tungstenoxide Nanoparticles Via Spray Route

Abstract
The hexagonal-tungsten oxide (h-WO3) has been attracting attention due to its high reactivity that arises from the hexagonal channels in its crystal structure.Simplification of the process used to synthesize h-WO3 is a key factor of the industrialapplications of this material. In this research, we reported this challenge by developing a spray route to synthesize tungsten oxide nanoparticles including hexagonal phase. The ratio of the monoclinic to the hexagonal phasewas increasedin proportion to furnace temperature. The ratio of hexagonal phase in WO3 nanoparticlesusing furnace temperature of 1200 °Creached at 32.5 wt%. Indexterms- Nanoparticle, Gas-phase synthesis
