Exploring Consumers’ Luxury Value Perceptions: Study of Evolution of Luxury Perception, A Shift Towards Intellectual Luxury

Abstract
The dynamic of luxury consumption and consumers’ perceptions of luxury value in the recent years has attracted the attention of luxury researchers and marketers. Most studies provided theoretical insight on luxury value perceptions, however, limited research has been carried out on how these consumers’ value perceptions of luxury products are changing. This research attempt to explore how and why the luxury value perceptions are changing, in this respect, this study look into various variables such as status, guilt, sustainability, culture and the economic changes and the impact of them on the decision making process of luxury shoppers.
