Cohort-Based, Faculty-As-Students, Elearning: Maximizing Professional Development Opportunities

Abstract
Interactive learning is a well documented strategy to re-inforce student learning outcomes and support institutional learning outcomes. However, ensuring faculty remain fresh and cognizant of their own teaching styles can be a challenge. A wealth of online programs exist that claim to address this difficulty. Regardless of the program an institution chooses, cohort learning can offer valuable lessons otherwise unobtainable in individual based asynchronous e-learning.
