Students’ Perception on The Use of Text-Based in Responsive Writing
The objectives of this study is to describe students’ perception towards the use of text-based in responsive writing. This study used qualitative as the method. The participants for this study were two high achiever students who took Intermediate English Grammar class in English Language Department in Universitas Islam Indonesia. The data were collected through interview with each student at different time and places. Based on the data analysis, it is found that the use of text-based is affecting their performance in responsive writing in classroom, especially the application of simple tenses in the text. Thus, teaching grammar to the students is not only about grammar rules but also the implementation of the grammar.
