A Guideline for Hotel Personnel Development To Accomodate Senoir Tourists in Amphawa District and Bangkontee Diostrict, Samut Songkram Province

Abstract
This study aims to set a guideline for hotel personnel development to accommodate senior tourists in Amphawa District and Bang Khontee District, SamutSongkhram Province. Mixed Methods Research and qualitative Semi-Structured Interviews, were deployed for data collection. There were totally 11 respondents, comprising threegroups of :1)operational hotel staff 2) local people and 3) academicians. Stratified and Snowball random sampling techniques were also used. Quantitative data collection was processed through a questionnaire approach, verified by practitioners in the field, with Reliability Test at level of 95 percent. 260 survey copies were investigated in the study site. The data analysis revealed both qualitative and quantitative respondent suggestions whereby hotel personnel should have certain knowledge and understanding about the elderly in various skills such as safety, first aid and health care including awareness raising of service mindedness. Especially, hotel staff should learn more about recoomendations of local tourist attractions. Besides, local people in the community should be allowed to take parts or work in the hotels and accommodations in the areas. Keyword - Hotel personal development, Senior tourist
