New Approaches In Literature And Film Adaptations Research

Filmmakers started to adapt works of literature from the beginnings of cinema. For decades, many scholars who wrote about film adaptations, a movie derived from a work of literature, considered them to be an inferior cultural product. However, in recent decades, new perspectives in adaptation studies have emerged.
