Paper Title
Testing of Chemical Vapor Deposition Coating for Drawing Tools Dedicated to Drawing Tubes With Shaped Inner Surface

Abstract
Nowadays, high demands are placed on the durability of tools in the production process. One of the methods applied to enhance tool life is coating. The deposited coatings are characterized by high hardness and excellent tribological properties. The adhesive properties of the deposited coatings are among the critical parameters which significantly affect the life of the coated tool. Surface preparation prior to coating application belongs to the key operations affecting the deposition of the deposited layer. Adhesive properties are typically evaluated by a scratch test. The present article is aimed at assessing the adhesion of the TiCN CVD coating deposited on the S600 substrate by scratch indenting test. Index Terms— adhesion, CVD, coating, scratch test, tool
