Case Study on The Measurement of The Technological Development Index in Korea from The Perspective of Technological Innovation

Abstract
What pattern has technological development & innovation shown in Korean history? Ian Morris (2010) made a bold attempt to draw a graph of human history by explaining why the West controlled it through quantification of social development. What about the pattern of technological development in Korea? How about comparing and analyzing the pattern of development of the world with that of Korea? This study seeks to answer these questions. In other words, we intend to study the history of technological development in Korea by developing and measuring technology development indexes. Index Terms—Technological development index, Technological innovation, Korea, Case study.
