Paper Title
In The Search of a Linguistic Model for Automatic Generalization Recognition in Media Texts

Abstract
The article defines the concept of generalization, analyzes generalization in the texts of the media and searches for a linguistic model for its recognition. There are studies that view generalization as a sign of bias or as an ideological strategy influencing readers' opinions. However, any studies for automatic recognition of generalization in texts haven’t been found. An annotation scheme on the basis of which linguistic rules have been identified for manual generalization detection and its automatic recognition in texts is proposed. A generalization detection experiment in the texts of official media has been carried out using the rules.
