Analysis of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Training and Compensation Impact for Employees Performance of The Indonesian Railroad Company
Abstract
Train is one of public transportation in Indonesia. It has a lot of advantages such as free pollution, cheap ticket & fast one to reach the destination.The issue occurs at Indonesian Railroad company is the increase of accident frequency that is one of them caused by human error & low benefit that can reduce the employees’ dedication or performance to the company.The research is about analysis of the impact of occupational health and safety (OHS) training and compensation for the employees’ performance of the Indonesian railroad company Regional Divison III Palembang. There are eighty five respondents coming from the employees of Indonesia Railroad Company Regional Division III related to this research. The dependent variable used is Occupational Health and safety (OHS) training (X1) and compensation (X2) & the independent one is employees performance. Double linier analysis is used in this research, the data is statistically managed by using SPPS (Statistical Package for the social science). The result shows that Occupational health and safety (OHS) training & compensation create an impact to the employee’s performance about 54.1%. According to result of partial research Occupational health and safety (OHS) training creates a positive impact & plays important role to the employee’s performance while compensation creates a significant positive impact to the employee’s performance.Hopefully, the result of this research can be an input to Indonesian Railroad Company in order to increase their performance of the employees.
