Paper Title
Business Ethics and Business Practices: A Great Mismatch
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide a thorough overview of certain constructs in business ethics (BE) and show the ever increasing discrepancy between the discipline of BE and the actual practices taking place in the real business environments. BE seems to draw an ever increasing attention academically, but on the other hand, malpractices and unethical implications seem to be reaching more critical heights. Thus, it looks as though, in our modern day and age, having grasped profound understanding of BE actually has not helped reduce any of the major wrongdoings. In this regard, the wide gap existing between theory and practice clearly deserves more proliferation. This paper aims to help our understanding of the severity of the contemporary problems faced and shed light onto future research.
