Competency Required for Software Engineering Students Based on Industry 4.0
Abstract
The study focuses on Software Engineering (SE) students’ competency at College of Art, Media and Technology (CAMT), Chiang Mai, Thailand. The feedback from companies where CAMT students have internship at, shows that the competency of students cannot meet their requirements. This research aims to find out the root cause why this issue exists, and will combine with Industry 4.0 and Knowledge Management (KM) to make new SE competency criteria and learning process to SE students at CAMT. The aim of the research hops to improve the SE students’ competency to meet requirements of companies in Chiang Mai.
