Paper Title
Split Payment and Financial Liquidity of Small Enterprises

Abstract
Split payment has been in force since 1 July 2018 in Poland. Theoretically, an optional mechanism established on the basis of combined vessels will cover the entire B2B sector in a short time. Negative impact of the split payment mechanism on the liquidity of small and medium-sized enterprises becomes the main objection against the legislator. Entrepreneurs should equip themselves with effective tools that will allow them to control finances of the company in the dual settlement system. The article analyses how the introduction of split payment in Poland affected financial liquidity of small and medium enterprises in the first months of new regulations. The analysis was made on the basis of interviews conducted among 250 small and medium Polish enterprises. Index Terms - Financial liquidity, small enterprises, split payment, tax.
