Study the Impact of Accreditation on Student Learning Outcomes Through ACBSP Body. Case Study from FPT University, Vietnam

Abstract
This study investigates the viewpoints of higher education managers, faculty members and students on the impact of ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) on student learning and performance. These views are explored through a case study approach from FPT University, which is one of the largest and most accredited private universities in Vietnam and has been approved a candidacy for ACBSP Accreditation since 2016. The study’s results suggest that accreditation influences most of the university’s management activities, including institution’s academic programs, teaching activities and student learning. We argue the influence of accreditation contributes significantly to encourage continuous quality improvement and exceed students’ expectations. Recommendations for improvement in the use of ACBSP Accreditation results are proposed. Keywords - ACBSP Accreditation, impact, student learning outcomes, higher education
