Paper Title
Titanium Nanocomposites-Based Catalysts In Photodegradation Of Phenol In Wastewater

Abstract
Nanocomposites CNTi and rGOTi were prepared hydrothermally from of carbon nitride (C3N4) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) respectively with TiO2 (Ti). The As-prepared catalyst as well as TiO2 were characterized using different techniques such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET). The UV-vis DRS showed that CNTi and rGOTi showed absorption in the visible light region. The photocatalytic performances of as-prepared catalyst as well as TiO2 were tested for 20 ppm phenol degradation. It was shown that CNTi nanocomposite is the best photocatalyst in which 91.4 % degradation of phenol was obtained within 30 min under Xe illumination.
