Methods for Improving the Efficiency of Building and Operating Bridges using BIM Technologies
Abstract
At the beginning of the XXI century, a fundamentally new approach appeared in the design of architectural and building objects - information modeling of buildings (BIM).A new approach is to create an information model of the projected structure, which contains all the information about the future facility. This approach can be used not only when designing new facilities, but also when preparing reconstruction projects. The article describes the actual problem of using information models of construction objects put into operation. At this stage, there is a need for special software, which should be connected with the finished information model. It is proposed to use the application programming interface Open API, integrating the necessary algorithms of calculation and analysis into the system to make the process of updating the information model more efficient. The variants of the new dialog boxes created with the Tekla Open API are shown, which illustrate the possibilities of this approach to correct information models of bridges created in the Tekla program.
