Paper Title
Enhancing Business Performance With Knowledge Management
Abstract
- Information is typically fragmented, unstructured, and largely incomplete. Poor Knowledge Management leaves a company vulnerable to their knowledge-base - or intellectual capital - walking out of the door each year. Through Knowledge Management (KM), it brings significant savings in time and costs. For example, it is assumed that 30% of mistakes made in the building industry are due to people working on wrong or outdated drawings & documents. Then, this paper proposed 3-step methodology starting with an understanding of the business context and leading to a KM roadmap.
