Paper Title
Influence Accuracy Of The Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy Verification On A Multileaf Collimators Angel And A Phantom Position
Abstract
In modern radiology treatment workflow, verification is a critical process for determining the validity of specific treatment planning. In this article, we verified a treatment plan of a patient before the actual patient treatment step by irradiating a phantom with the prescribed dose from the treatment planning system for verifying the dose distribution. We performed the experiment for the normal case with the correct setting and then we changed two parameters (the angle of the MLC and the position of the phantom) to see the effect of those parameters on the dose distribution and the decision if this treatment plan is acceptable or unacceptable.
