E-Learning Vs Blended Learning in Open Learning Environment

Abstract
Last years, e-learning tools have become the most prevalent delivering information and knowledge to higher education students, especially in open and distance learning systems. Nevertheless, some institutes have stepped slightly back to emerge e-learning tools with conventional learning in so-called blended learning under their visions and goals. This is a comparative study between e-learning and blended learning in open learning environment as a case study. Pros and cons of both are discussed via students’, teachers’ and institute’s perspectives. The result of the study shows that there are a consensus about some aspects and a contrast in others.
