The Impact Of Climate On Emotional Exhaustion
Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate how school climate is related to teachers’ emotional exhaustion. The sample of the study includes 212 primary, middle and high school teachers in Istanbul. As a survey instrument questionnaire was used to learn the respondents’ perception of school climate, and emotional exhaustion. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze if; the school climate is an antecedent of emotional exhaustion. Results revealed that the school climate is negatively related to the emotional exhaustion.
