Paper Title
Binary Integer Programming to Solve the Process Planning Problem for Prismatic Mixed Parts
Abstract
The objective of this paper was to develop binary integer programming to minimize the total production time of the prismatic mixed parts on a CNC machining center. The time required for machining, tool traveling and tool changing is taken into consideration under the relevant constraints such as precedence and available cutting tools. The part styles in this study as the different types of part can be processed on the machining center. Based on the model developed, the process planning for part can be sequenced optimally and the tool changing time can be curtailed.
