A Classroom-based Methodology to Teaching Digital Logic Design to Engineering Undergraduates
This paper presents the delivery of course material for digital logic design to Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduates at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine campus in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago via use of an interactive classroom-based methodology. The paper compared the performance of the undergraduates when this classroom-based methodology is utilized, with the performance when the tradition laboratory-based approach was utilized. Analysis of results obtained indicate that students performed much better when the classroom-based methodology was utilized.
