The Relationship Between Taxes And Economic Growth: Case Of Turkey

Abstract
Taxes are one of the most important financial resources of government and although to produce the various effects on economic growth.This paper examines the relation between taxation structure and economic growth, real GNP (Gross National Domestic Product), and indirect and direct tax using the quarterly data covering the periods of 2006.01 and 2014.04. The results of the analyses suggest that there is Granger �causality in the long and short run between direct and indirect and GNP.
