The Degree of Practicing Creative Teaching Approaches by the Teachers at King Abdullah II Schools of Excellence at Al Tafila City/Jordan

Abstract
This study aimed mainly at recognizing the practicing degree of creative teaching approaches by the teaches at King Abdullah II Schools of Excellence at Al Tafila City/Jordan, and the obstacles against applying these approaches, as well as exploring the statistically Significant differences among the levels of students opinions, in these schools in the secondary stage, toward the degree of the practicing of creative teaching approaches by the their teachers according to the variables of gender and class. To achieve the objective of the study, the study adopted the survey descriptive methodology, and applied the questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. The sample was selected through the survey of the population of the study which consisted of 73 female and male secondary students .To analyze the data the study applied the descriptive and analytical approach . The study concluded that the degree of practicing creative teaching approaches by the teaches at King Abdullah II Schools of Excellence at Tafila was medium as perceived by the respondents by a mean of (3.12),and that the most applied approaches to develop the creative teaching approaches of students by the teacher were training students to explore facts, concepts and generalization from the surrounding environment related to the subject of study, besides introducing question by teaches for discussion stimulate the students' thinking skills. The results also showed that the general level of constraints that encounter teaches in practicing these approaches was high, by an arithmetic mean of (3.814) as perceived by student. The most critical constraints were lack of means that help in developing the students' creative teaching inside the class and school. Another constraint was the difficult adoption of these creative teaching approaches by students. Results also showed that there was statistically significant difference among the means of students' perception about the degree that their teacher practice creative thinking approaches according to gender in favor of females and according to the grade in favor of first secondary grade students. The study recommended the training of teachers on applying the approaches of creative teaching in education process, and providing the suitable class and school environment for using and applying the creative teaching approaches.
