Paper Title
Simulation of Transient Earth Voltage Analysis Caused by Partial Discharge in Switchgear

Abstract
Partial discharge (PD) that occurs on the inside of the switchgear will produce electromagnetic waves and propagate to the outside. The propagation of electromagnetic waves that pound metal on a metal box as a switchgear will produce a transient earth voltage. The analysis was done to find out the mechanism of Transient Earth Voltage (TEV) by PD in metal box. The (Finite Difference Time Domain) FDTD method is used for simulation of PD movement in metal box in this study by CST software. There are two kinds of data retrieval that is the difference of position position of measurement point and the value of PD determined. The results of the simulation show that the position of the occurrence of PD with the position of sensors and gaskets, affect the measurement results.
