The Effect of Sit Up Exercise on Heading Ball Ability in Soccer Game
This research aims to know whether there is any effect of sit up exercise on heading ball ability in soccer game. By nature, this research is experimental with one independent variable and one dependent variable. The populations in this research are students of SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng (State Senior High School). The samples were randomly selected for 15 students followed by sit up treatments(in groups). Data collection technique used was heading ball ability test in soccer game. The data were then analyzed by using t-test analysis. Based on the data analysis, the result shows thatthere is significant effect of sit up exercise on heading ball ability in soccer game, it is proven by t0 = 21.9807 >ttab 95%=2.14. In this case, sit up exercise is effective to improve heading ball ability.
