Spectrum Sensing using Combination of Comb Filter and Autocorrelator in Parallel for OFDM Signals in Cognitive Radio
We propose an effective spectrum sensing method which exploits the combination of comb filter and autocorrelation function in a parallel form. In our proposed method, the primary user information is not required for spectrum sensing, but the noise variance is used, which corresponds to a semi blind one. A comprehensive evaluation by simulations shows that the proposed method is useful for low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) cases.
